Arsenal’s 2008-10 home shirt is now officially on sale with hundreds of fans visiting the club shop to get their hands on the new jersey.
The supporters gathered outside ‘The Armoury’ as shirts quickly flew off the shelves with plenty of fans flocking into the Ashburton Grove-based store.
Gooner Talk exclusively brought you pics of the new Arsenal away shirt yesterday evening. The ‘1989 season’ theme is displayed on the shirt as the jersey goes on sale 1 August, next month.

Is the special edition 1989 away kit going to be until 2010, like the home kit? Or is it just a one-off like the last white/redcurrant away kit?

I have a feeling it will be a one off mate because its a ’special edition’ shirt, I’ll email Arsenal and find out 100% though.

I dun really like the sleeves though. That red that flows all the way down kinda takes out the white (we’re the red & white!).
I hope its a one-off like the white/redcurrant kits.

My understanding is that the new awat top will become the 3rd shirt next season, just as the white top has.

The Home Kit will be for the 08/10 seasons, the away kit is just for the 08/09 season. Looked it up there Now
