Pics Removed For Legal Reasons
Gooner Talk have managed to grab hold of an exclusive pic which reveals Arsenal’s past and present players in the new 08-09 away kit for next season.
We brought you the new pics of the away jersey several weeks ago and today’s leaked pics provide all the evidence to back up our earlier claims.
The photos, (which aren’t of the highest quality) include Arsenal legends from the infamous 1989 season including former striker Alan Smith, centre back Steve Bould and ex-midfielders Paul Merson and league winning hero Michael ‘Micky’ Thomas who are all wearing Arsenal tracksuits.
Manuel Almunia, Cesc Fabregas, skipper William Gallas, Theo Walcott, Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie are the current Gunners’ stars are on show in the exclusive leaked pic.
The whole design of the new home and away kit is based on the 1989 version of Arsenal’s jersey – which explains while some of the past players are shown in the pics.

Michael Thomas chating to Cesc in the first one, the main rason for the retro late 80’s look.
July 2, 2008 at 5:43 pm
Paul Davis is talking to Fab4 if I’m not mistaken, still does some coaching at the club (like Bould)
July 2, 2008 at 5:44 pm
RVP is right, I’ll update it in a sec.

Michael Thomas chating to Cesc in the first one, the main reason for the retro late 80’s look.
July 2, 2008 at 5:44 pm
And who let that vociferous, brummie, anti-arsenal cock Smudger back in..
July 2, 2008 at 5:47 pm
Smudger did shit loads for Arsenal and only moans about the Gunners when we’re screwing it up on the pitch, just like the rest of us Gooners.
July 2, 2008 at 5:50 pm
PIC ALREADY UP
July 2, 2008 at 5:50 pm
Always happy to help Gooner Chris
July 2, 2008 at 5:52 pm
that kit has given me the horn! i don’t like the home kit. maybe we should just play in this one all the time
July 2, 2008 at 5:54 pm
Wasn’t a fan at all when i first saw the pics of the “prototype” away months ago that looked a dirty yellow colour but the kit looks great in these pics, completely changed my mind about it! Walcott 14 definitely the choice for name&number this season
July 2, 2008 at 6:00 pm

July 2, 2008 at 6:05 pm
Excellent Chris. Your always the first one to it! lol
July 2, 2008 at 6:11 pm
It’s a phenomenal kit and I hope the current batch of players understand the significance of it.
Historically, it of course it relates the greatest ever night in the Gunner’s hisory.
These lads have to go and write some their own. It’s a big ask, but the boss deserves it and time waits for no man.
July 2, 2008 at 6:15 pm
Its very 1989 league winning kit stylee – a good omen hopefully
July 2, 2008 at 6:19 pm

July 2, 2008 at 8:14 pm
No problems HuddersfieldGooner, and yep you can call it the Official Arsenal 08/09 Away Kit..
July 2, 2008 at 8:17 pm
Hi Chris! How about Nasri? Thought u said the deal will be announced this afternoon….
July 2, 2008 at 8:18 pm
Yep, those were the reports in France and it seems I was wrong. Marseille chairman Papa Diouf says the deal will be wrapped up in the next ‘few day’s.
I’d prefer if we stuck to the topic mate, if you want to talk about Nasri, leave a comment on the Nasri post.
Thanks.
July 2, 2008 at 8:26 pm
Thanks for the enlightenment but I must say I felt disappointed..
July 2, 2008 at 8:28 pm
i thought there was more gold to it then yellow huh, almost like spains jerseys, i preferred the deeper yellow/gold thought it had more a retro feel to it and was pretty unique this almost has the feel of columbian or romanian kit minus the blue sleeves of course nonetheless still alrite
July 2, 2008 at 8:30 pm
Hey what are the names on numbers 15 and 7 in the changing room as it’s too blurry to make out,
Thanks
July 2, 2008 at 8:31 pm
15 – Denilson
7 – David ‘Rocky’ Rocastle
July 2, 2008 at 8:33 pm
Thanks
Thats a good tribute torocastle after all he gave to the club R.I.P Rocky
July 2, 2008 at 8:40 pm
7 is ROSICKY mate
July 2, 2008 at 8:42 pm
No it isn’t, if you actually look closely it says ROCASTLE, please check first, thanks.
July 2, 2008 at 9:36 pm
Hmm.. First of all, I really don’t like the idea of having two new kit every year. 3rd kit is something I can’t say, but we’ve been used to get new home and away kit for league every second year and that really should be enough. Now it seems the club are tryin’ to rip us fans off completily. Or do you Chris or anyone else know if these two new kits are our Premier league kits for the next two seasons, doubt it.
Remember there was also this Highbury farewell. Don’t get me wrong, I do want to have every shirt but if there’s a son, daughter, godson, goddaughter, mother, father, granny… It’s getting too expensive.
July 2, 2008 at 9:36 pm
SEXY!! SUITS OUR SEXY FOOTBALL
July 2, 2008 at 9:37 pm
hente u dumbass it is for 2 years. every kit is except the last highbury one. wake up
July 2, 2008 at 9:42 pm
Wake up?
July 2, 2008 at 9:43 pm
What about last season’s away kit?
July 2, 2008 at 9:48 pm
This kit is no good. I preffered the blue one from 2002. that was much better.
July 2, 2008 at 9:53 pm
I’m really feeling the authenticity
You know, the only times that we have won the premiership (infact division 1) is when we’ve had a yellow away kit.
July 2, 2008 at 10:32 pm
Great kit but I’m baffled by the “exclusive pics” headline as I got my brochure through the post this morning. So the pics on the site are not “leaked” at all!!!
July 3, 2008 at 1:06 am
VERY VERY NICE!!!!!!!!

What’s Fab doing talking to your actual BURGLAR!
July 3, 2008 at 7:16 am
whos sitting to left of Alan Smith drinking from a bottle? van Persie?
July 3, 2008 at 7:40 am
yes it’s van persie… love the red print on the back think thats what reaææy makes the shirt actually, cause with black or white print it would look exxtremely boring
July 3, 2008 at 8:36 am
Is it supposed to resemble the kit your wore during the UEFA Cup final? Looks pretty good to me – a lot better than any other yellow away kit you’ve had in recent seasons.
July 3, 2008 at 8:54 am
just wondering, gooner chris, where you got these pics from?
July 3, 2008 at 9:56 am
It’s up for grabs now……
