Samir Nasri’s agent told French Eurosport that “no agreement” has been “finalised” on the possible transfer of the Marseille starlet to Arsenal.
The 20-year-old’s representative, Jean-Pierre Bernès has been reportedly “finalising” minor details to allow Nasri’s move to Arsenal, but the Frenchman this afternoon has come out with the news that most Arsenal fans weren’t expecting.
“There is no agreement finalised, we are studying a proposition from Arsenal who are interested in Samir Nasri, but other offers are parked on my desk” said Bernès, without specifying where the other proposals came from
Contrary to reports from growing Gooner blogs, Nasri is not having a medical at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground and has not finalised any part of a possible transfer to The Gunners.
Although these quotes from Bernés (who is renowned for delaying transfers) are very off-putting, negotiations are still likely to take place in the next couple of weeks. Nasri though, is to set off for French national team training to prepare for the upcoming Euro Championships this summer, the transfer is expected to be completed around that time.

I’m not surprised at all. Some people should stop swallowing the bullshit that papers love to produce. L’Equipe speaks as much shite as any English paper.
May 21, 2008 at 4:21 pm
this is shambel………………….got our hopes up 4 nothing
May 21, 2008 at 4:21 pm
All this Arsenal transfer talk has really started to bore me now and we’re not even in june yet!
KMT
May 21, 2008 at 4:22 pm
Not at all, his agent is basically holding the transfer out for more money. It’s still very likely that we get him.
May 21, 2008 at 4:24 pm
I hope we sign no one and go into debt and Usmanov becomes chairman
May 21, 2008 at 4:26 pm
Usmanov??
At least Stan Kroenke appreciates “soccer” whereas Usmanov is a fat Russian pig who’s only aim is at making money.
May 21, 2008 at 4:27 pm
Agent just wants more money, he would have mentioned the other clubs but there most likley wernt any. Like he said, Nasri wants to join Arsenal and i feel he will, the agent just wants more money.
Its still likley we will sign him
May 21, 2008 at 4:28 pm
The best thing to do is not get sucked in and just wait until arsenal.com unveils a signing. We are always the biggest target for silly season with regards to transfers, apparantly we are always about to be in crisis every Summer.
It may be the agent playing games to see if he can get his player Nasri a better deal, but whatever the outcome Eduardo came completely out of the blue and it could well be that this is what happens again.
All we know is Arsene said they’re well be a signing by the end of the month so lets wait and see.
Up the gunners!!

Hello Guys.
as Much as I’d love to see Nasri In the Arsenal Squad Next Season , but reading This Deal Not agreed, I’m Starting To be Honest To Think he Might Not be Heading To Arsenal, Obviously They wanna Big some of Money Wag and we cann’t Pay him that , otherwise he would have signed, im really gutted right now , and i just WISH Wish we get him as soon as possible Befor Liverpool or Chelsea cause They have got enough money to Splash…
Gunners For Life.
May 21, 2008 at 6:05 pm
According to radio station Talksport we have signed Nasri….still, they are usually full of sh!te so we’ll see…
May 21, 2008 at 6:06 pm
Hence the nickname TalkShite
We will sign him though, not too sure when at the moment, maybe before Euro 08 or after. You can be sure that Gooner Talk will bring you the news as soon as we get it.
May 21, 2008 at 6:07 pm
Vela has got his work permit btw…

May 21, 2008 at 6:29 pm
good news about vela getting his permit!!
as for nasri hes a great young player but the better option would be ben arfa at arsenal nat left footed player someone we really need to balance the team
May 21, 2008 at 6:37 pm
Well Good on You Vela, Looking Forward To seeing Him Playing Really , To be honest since i have heard about the Nasri Deal Not agreed Im Just really so Davistated and I wouldn’t Really Paying too Much attention till everything is Offical , Seriously Gutted …
Up The Gunners
May 21, 2008 at 7:18 pm
C’mon, the agent used finalised… FINALISED, that basicaly means hes had the offer, likes it, wants to sign it and just wants to see if he can get a few extra quid. There is obviously an agreement between Arsenal and Marseille and personal terms just need to be agreed.
also with the Lyon Chairman saying we basically have an offer in for Ben Arfa if things start to get more serious in that deal, they’ll agree to the deal as Nasri wants to play for Arsnal.
May 21, 2008 at 7:23 pm
“Fat Russian Pig” does not constitute rascism. Fat = he is fat (true statement), Russina = he is Russian (it’s a fact), Pig = can’t defend this -very offensive to pigs !!
May 21, 2008 at 8:54 pm
Patience Gooners! The Media are hungry for storys, The Agents are hungry for money! Otherwise you would not have heard anything till he stepped into Emirates for a medical. Ignorance is bliss as they say. If we do sign him then we sign him otherwise someone else will be bought. You either want to sign for Arsenal or not
May 21, 2008 at 10:13 pm
Now Chelsea know what it feels like to dominate a game and get nowt !! poetic justice – now just need Ronaldo to be run over on the way to the airport and it’s a perfect night…..
May 21, 2008 at 10:31 pm
i think we will sign nasri tomorrow
May 21, 2008 at 10:56 pm
if you were up to your neck in shit and had to keep your mouth open for breath however it was raining shit, what would you do? My exact position watching the champions league final. who the hell do you want to win!
May 21, 2008 at 11:00 pm
jillu,
united, obviously. they play better football and are normally entertaining. as a fan of football i wanted them to beat chelski who also have cuntley cunt, anelka, terry and dogbra in their team.
May 21, 2008 at 11:14 pm
Harry,
I Hope thats Really True Mate , i thought he left England already with the offer and nothing agreed Yet, But I really Hope we Seal this deal as soon as Possible….
Arsenal Rule
May 22, 2008 at 2:46 am
Two guys watching the Champions League’s final, and one of them start laughing very loud at John Terry, when he miss his penalty:
-Guy1: Hey, if Terry could hear you…
-Guy2: He would cry, as he always do.
-Guy1: Or he would try to find you to kill you.
-Guy2: Ok, I don’t mind. Tell him I’m waiting.
-Guy1: Don’t worry, I’ll help you to break his legs.
-Guy2: There’s no need to do that.
-Guy1: Exactly. He would fall on the floor trying to beat us up.
JAJAJA! Greetings from Spain. Go Arsenal!

Sorry folks. I’m the one who made the rival bid for Nasri. Thought he’d do well for my park soccer side. We need a technically proficient player and with the Aussie dollar so high, we thought we could afford it. Anyway, I’ll withdraw our offer so Arsenal can sign him quickly.
May 22, 2008 at 6:56 am
Is it just me who thinks we still need a centre half who can dominate in the air battles and physical battles with your Drogbas of this world because for 3 seasons now we have not dealt with direct balls into the middle of our area well at all. This is something even Wenger agreed with and said when asked what went wrong this year.
One would have thought that would be his top priority. Yes Nasri is fantastic but we will always create bundles of chances the way we work the ball but as Real and Barce proved this year if you cannot stop them going in the other end then you are stuffed.
The problem this year was that when we couldnt score anymore unfortunately we couldnt stop em going in either.
May 22, 2008 at 4:00 pm
Connolly’s Agent , Come on Mate Its Not YOur Fault . You were Just as Excited as The most Of us about Naris’s Move, we all Hope You will Come to his senses and Seal The deal , Its not His Fault Its his Stupid agent who wanna the commission , guess nothing well be Resolved till Euro 2008, and as they as More Fish In The Sea though, Chin Up Mate
May 22, 2008 at 6:23 pm
I highly doubt that a swap-deal involving Ben Arfa and Nasri will go through, both players have stated that if they were to move, it would not be to another club in France.
I also found it strange that Nasri’s agent failed to name the other clubs who ‘had made offers’ for his client… If he mentions the name of one club, he would name the other clubs with leads me to think that there arnt any other offers and he is simply trying to persuade us to part with a few extra quid every week… Simple as that. They arnt in a rush because they know there is a solid offer for him… thats what football is about these days and I’m not surprised that this has happened.
The start of Euro 08 is the absoloute latest that this transfer could go through…
I believe we will still see Nasri in an Arsenal shirt next season!
